Adjustment of the parameters for motion detectors/presence detectors
For many different application purposes, the motion detectors/ presence detectors can be mounted in different positions. The setting parameters can be individually adjusted so that they more precisely match the individual application purpose and installation location. Further details can be found in the respective operating instructions.
Using the run-on time, you control how long the lighting stays switched on after each motion detection.
For the motion detectors, the run-on time is set to two minutes and cannot be changed. Using the Clever Config app, you can set the run-on time between 10 seconds and 60 minutes.
The motion detector also has a dynamic self-learning run-on time. This optimises energy efficiency and user convenience of the automatic switching.
To set the range of the motion detector according to need and to prevent faulty switching due to over-sensitive monitoring, set the sensitivity individually. The sensitivity of the individual infrared sensors for the motion detector can also be adjusted using the Clever Config app. This does not apply to the motion detector mini basic.
Every application case requires a different switch-on brightness. You set this with an adjustment of the brightness threshold.
To check the detection range and the detection behaviour, use the walking test function. The walking test is carried out brightness-independent.
In combination with a dimming insert, you can save an individual switch-on brightness. You can adjust the brightness as required using centre plates or conveniently using the Clever Config app or IR remote control (see operating instructions DWPMK 360 ..).
