Display settings
Parameters | Setting choices, factory setting | Explanations |
|---|---|---|
Local display | Setpoint temperature, actual temperature, time Factory setting: setpoint temperature | Setpoint temperature: the display indicates the setpoint temperature. Actual temperature: the display indicates the actual temperature. When displaying the actual temperature, the temperature sensor symbol or the framed temperature sensor symbol is shown in the display. Time: the device indicates the current time. In the actual temperature display mode or the time display mode, the setpoint temperature can be displayed with a short press on the - or + button. In the set temperature indication mode or the actual temperature indication mode, the current time can be displayed as long as the button is pressed by pressing the [OK symbol] or [ESC symbol] button for more than 1 second. |
Display timeout | After 2 minutes, constant display Factory setting: after 2 minutes | After 2 minutes: The display remains illuminated for a duration of 2 minutes after the last operation and then switches off. Constant display: the display remains on permanently. |
No lock, factory reset lock, configuration lock on device, button lock, operating lock Factory setting: no lock | Factory reset lock: Prevents resetting at the device and thus removal from a project and recoupling by unauthorised persons. This lock cannot be deactivated at the device. After mains voltage return, the lock for the factory reset remains inactive for 2 minutes. Configuration lock at device: Prevents access to the regulation parameters that can be set via the display. Additionally prevents the use of the button lock that can be activated via the display. This lock should be activated in a hotel room, for example, so that the guest cannot accidentally change the configurations or lock the display. This lock cannot be deactivated at the device. Button lock: Prevents operation at the device. This lock can be used, for example, to clean the display without accidentally changing the configurations. This lock can be activated/deactivated by pressing - and AUTO on the device for 1 second. Operating lock Completely prevents any operation at the device. This lock can be used, for example, to temporarily limit manual access. This lock cannot be deactivated at the device. Operation using the app is still possible with all locks |
Settings for automatic functions
Parameters | Setting choices, factory setting | Explanations |
|---|---|---|
Automatic operation / manual operation | Automatic operation, manual operation Factory setting: automatic operation | Automatic operation: in automatic operation, the time program specifies the respective next setpoint temperature. Additionally in automatic operation, a new setpoint temperature can be specified using the - or + buttons on the device or using the app, but which will only be used until the next switching time. Manual operation: in manual operation, all time programs are deactivated and the device is permanently regulated to the specified setpoint temperature. |
Temperature, time and days of the week | It is possible to switch to a new setpoint temperature at specified times (days of the week and time). | |
Off, sunrise or sunset Factory setting: off | The astro timer provides the sunrise and sunset times in the course of a calendar year. Depending on the location, setpoint temperatures can be adjusted according to the position of the sun. | |
0 (off) ... 120 minutes before or after sunrise and sunset Factory setting: off | Astro times reflect the sunrise and sunset times in the course of a calendar year. If there is a need to run the time program in the morning before dawn or only when it is completely bright, this can be implemented using the "sunrise" shift. If there is a need to run the time program in the evening before twilight or only when it is completely dark, this can be implemented using the "sunset" shift. Shifts the time for the temperature change by the set value. | |
Off, earliest time, latest time Factory setting: off | To restrict the time period of an astro timer to an earliest and/or latest running time. | |
Geographical location | The astro timer in the JUNG HOME devices requires the geographical location of the project for the calculation of the sunrise and sunset times. The calculation of the astro timer for the localised position is carried out once a week. |
Temperature regulation settings
Parameters | Setting choices, factory setting | Explanations |
|---|---|---|
Comfort temperature | 12 °C ... 30 °C Factory setting: 21 °C | Setpoint for the comfort temperature. Note: depending on the "Minimum adjustable temperature value" and "Maximum adjustable temperature value", the setting range is changed. |
ECO temperature | 11 °C ... 25 °C Factory setting: 18 °C | Setpoint for the ECO temperature. Note: depending on the "Minimum adjustable temperature value" and "Maximum adjustable temperature value", the setting range is changed. |
5 °C ... 10 °C Factory setting: 7 °C | Setpoint for the frost protection temperature. This parameter defines the lowest temperature that can be regulated to. | |
Cooling temperature** | 5 °C ... 30 °C Factory setting: 24 °C | Setpoint of the cooling temperature. |
Maximum floor temperature | 10 °C ... 45 °C Factory setting: 35 °C | In order to prevent overheating of the floor, an external temperature sensor can be used that switches off the underfloor heating when the maximum floor temperature stored here is exceeded. If the temperature goes below this value again, the underfloor heating system switches on again. |
Minimum adjustable temperature value | 5 °C ... 25 °C Factory setting: 5 °C | Setting of the minimum temperature setpoint for comfort temperature, ECO temperature and holiday temperature. Independently of this parameter, the frost protection temperature is the lowest temperature that can be regulated to. |
Maximum adjustable temperature value | 12 °C ... 30 °C Factory setting: 30 °C | Setting of the maximum temperature setpoint for comfort temperature, ECO temperature and holiday temperature. |
Heating and cooling | On, off Factory setting: off | To activate cooling using the cooling input on the system insert. Note: if it is not possible to activate and deactivate cooling using the system insert, a wire bridge can be created in the system insert between L and the cooling input. In this case, cooling can be activated immediately using the "On" setting and deactivated with "Off". |
Using the JUNG HOME temperature sensor** | On, off Factory setting: off | A linked JUNG HOME temperature sensor can alternatively be selected as an internal temperature sensor as the source of the actual temperature. |
Temperature sensor | Internal sensor, wired external temperature sensor, internal sensor and wired external temperature sensor Factory setting: internal sensor | Internal sensor: the room temperature is measured using the internal temperature sensor or a JUNG HOME temperature sensor if taught in. Wired external temperature sensor: The room temperature is measured using the external temperature sensor that can only be connected to the room thermostat insert. The internal temperature sensor is deactivated. Internal sensors and wired external temperature sensor: The room temperature is measured using the internal temperature sensor or a JUNG HOME temperature sensor (if connected). The floor temperature is measured with the external temperature sensor that can only be connected to the room thermostat insert in order to enable the measurement of the maximum floor temperature. |
Temperature sensor offset | Offset setting: - 5 °C ... +5 °C | If the displayed actual temperature deviates from the measured room temperature, a correction value (offset value) can be entered. The actual temperature is corrected by the offset value. |
Controller output | PWM control, two-point control Factory setting: PWM control | Pulse width-modulated control (PWM): the output is not continuously activated, but for a certain time (pulse width) which depends on the temperature difference between the setpoint and actual temperature. With this method, the actual temperature is increasingly approaching the setpoint temperature. The cycle time is 15 minutes. Two-point control: the output remains switched on until the specified setpoint temperature is exceeded by 0.5 °C. The output is not switched on again until the temperature goes below the setpoint by 0.5 °C. |
Valve adjustment | Normally closed (NC), normally open (NO) Factory setting: normally closed (NC) | With this parameter, an adjustment of the control output to the electrothermal valve drives in use is undertaken. Normally closed (NC): the respective motor is normally closed. Normally open (NO): the respective motor is normally open. |
Temperature drop detection | On, off Factory setting: on | The temperature drop detection ensures that where there is a large reduction of temperature, e.g. after a window is opened, the system switches to the frost protection temperature for a maximum of 30 minutes. |
On, off Factory setting: on | The optimised heating up ensures that heating is started a maximum of 4 hours before the switching time so that when the switching time is reached the desired temperature has been achieved. The optimised heating up is optimised for space heaters/radiators. |
