Detection range and range of the presence detectors

The presence detectors have a detection range of 360°. The diameter of the detection range is dependent on the mounting height and the direction of movement of people in the detection range. With increased mounting height, the detection range increases, with detection density and sensitivity reduced at the same time.

At a mounting height of 3 metres, the JUNG HOME presence detector has a monitoring area with a diameter of 20 metres. You can conveniently configure the detection range of the JUNG HOME presence detector using the JUNG HOME App.

Options for limitation of the detection area

Where needed, you can limit the detection range by switching off individual sensors using the JUNG HOME app or by mounting a push-on cover.

Options for extending the detection area

The extension of the detection range can be carried out wirelessly. To do so, use a satellite insert 3-wire with a JUNG HOME presence detector or motion detector and link these to the main unit with the JUNG HOME app.
