Satellite units
The covers in the JUNG HOME system can communicate with each other using Bluetooth® MESH. Every push-button can be individually connected to an actuator.
Push-buttons and 2-wire satellite units in combination with LB Management covers continue to control the wired main units. This is a cost-effective installation to create more control units. For maximum flexibility, 3-wire satellite units in combination with JUNG HOME covers can be linked using Bluetooth® MESH with other combinations of system inserts and JUNG HOME covers.
For example, with a satellite unit you can extend the detection range of motion detectors or install further control units for controlling light, shading or temperature. You can also realise group or central control of your entire lighting or shading system using satellite units.
Satellite units can be used both with devices from LB Management and also with JUNG HOME devices. The following figure shows you all combination possibilities between LB Managements devices and JUNG HOME devices.

Main unit and installation button
You can integrate an existing building installation consisting of a main unit and a push-button into the JUNG HOME network by fitting an LB Management cover or JUNG HOME cover onto the main unit. The installation button cannot be smartified in this way.
Main unit and satellite insert 2-wire
A cost-efficient alternative to the satellite insert 3-wire consists of an installation with the satellite insert 2-wire. The satellite insert 2-wire cannot, however, be integrated into the innovative digital infrastructure as only the LB Management push-button 1-gang/ 2-gang can be fitted onto the satellite insert 2-wire. You can fit an LB Management cover or a JUNG HOME cover onto the main unit. The main unit is smartified as soon as you use a JUNG HOME cover.
Main unit and satellite insert 3-wire
If the satellite insert 3-wire is still wired to the main unit via a satellite unit, you can fit an LB Management cover onto the satellite unit. The satellite unit is then, however, not integrated into the innovative digital infrastructure. On the main unit, you can fit an LB Management cover or a JUNG HOME cover and smartify the main unit if you use a JUNG HOME cover.
JUNG HOME
- With a JUNG HOME cover on the main and satellite units, the connection using Bluetooth® MESH is made.
- In interiors the range is up to 30 metres (dependent on the Bluetooth® MESH).
Main unit and satellite unit
If the satellite insert 3-wire is no longer wired to the main unit, you can fit a JUNG HOME cover on both the main and satellite units. The connection between the main and satellite units is then made using Bluetooth® MESH.
Installation button as satellite unit
The main unit is switched by briefly pressing the button that functions as satellite unit. This happens in toggle mode. If the main unit was switched off, it switches on again by pressing the button and vice versa. When pressed and held, the lighting is dimmed brighter and darker alternately. The dimmer stops if the minimum or maximum brightness is reached. The dimming direction is also changed after each actuation.
Satellite insert 3-wire with JUNG HOME push-button
The JUNG HOME push-button works on a satellite insert 3-wire exactly the same as on a system insert. It toggles and differentiates between short and long operations.
