JUNG HOME – the system
The digital infrastructure for the home
With the innovative and easily installed JUNG HOME system, individual living units and complete buildings can be quickly and economically smartified. JUNG HOME devices are matched to each other and linkable to form a digital infrastructure. Light, shading and temperature are operated as required across rooms or entire levels and intelligently controlled – without needing the Internet.
Furthermore, with a JUNG HOME Gateway, voice control and remote access are quickly and easily implemented. By connecting to other familiar platforms, networks with devices and systems in areas such as energy management, building protection, air conditioning, entertainment and household appliances are possible.
The secret of JUNG HOME
JUNG HOME is based on combinations of system inserts (LB Management inserts) and JUNG HOME covers as well as JUNG HOME Pucks. In addition, intelligent sockets and actuators with binary inputs are available. All devices work with 230 volt and are linked smartly and securely without a server or Internet connection. Battery-operated push-buttons and Pucks complement an installation and enable even more flexible operation. In this way, an existing electrical installation can be smartified quickly and easily. Commissioning is self-explanatory with the JUNG HOME app.
The JUNG HOME system is built up as follows:
- All JUNG HOME devices are linked using Bluetooth® MESH. This worldwide standard guarantees robust communication between devices.
- For this secure communication, AES-128 encryption is used. This ensures that no data can be read.
- With the many-to-many connections, a decentralised network is established with the greatest possible stability. If one device drops out, the system continues to work.
- All devices with a 230-volt supply are both transmitter and receiver but also a repeater at the same time. The repeater function enables the establishment of an extensive network covering rooms and floors. Battery-powered devices in the network serve only as transmitters.
- The JUNG HOME app is used to configure the devices (settings). Alongside manual operation of the devices, the JUNG HOME app can be used to operate them as well.
Great flexibility – low installation cost
The system inserts and Pucks are the basis for the future-proof and smart electrical installation. Various system inserts and Pucks are available for application areas of switching, dimming, shading and temperature control. In the process, the conventional electrical installation offers the foundations for the smartification. As a result, JUNG HOME can be used both in existing buildings and in new-builds.
Once the JUNG HOME covers have been put on the system inserts, a system is ready for operation without any configuration. The configuration with the JUNG HOME app extends the functional scope further. Examples for this are configuring timer programs or linking of different sensors and actuators. In addition, scenes make it possible to trigger multiple actuators. These can adopt a configured state. In this way, for example, the temperature throughout the house can be increased to 21.0 °C, the blinds raised and the lighting switched on in multiple rooms. If desired, the complete JUNG HOME system can be operated with voice control with the JUNG HOME Gateway. "Alexa, lower all the blinds".
