Connect loudspeaker to KNX push-button sensor

The following steps help you with the set-up for controlling Sonos with the KNX push-button sensor.

  1. Create a function for the KNX push-button sensor. Select the area Functions, assign a name e.g. KNX -> SONOS Kitchen (push-button).

  1. Select the function type Virtual Dimmer 3.

  1. Under Group addresses, enter the previously created KNX group address for the function Virtual dimmer 4. If necessary, use the list function on the right next to the entry field.
  • Volume (4-bit) > dim > rocker 1.

  1. Switch back to the Sonos loudspeaker (Sonos Kitchencode>) 5.
  2. All paired KNX group addresses with which you can operate your Sonos loudspeaker are now displayed under Pairing 6.

  1. Now add the function Virtual Dimmer or KNX > Sonos Kitchen (push-button) for control of the volume 7.
  2. Ensure that the Master button is activated. A Master button is always shown in light-blue.

The figure shows the Sonos control in SV-Home. You can now conveniently control your favourite music via the JUNG KNX rotary sensor, KNX push-button sensor and on the move via the SV-Server app.
