Information on the range of the JUNG HOME devices

Note the following for the installation of JUNG HOME devices:

Communication of the JUNG HOME devices with each other and with mobile end devices is wireless within the range of the Bluetooth® MESH network. The range can be affected by the following:

• Number, thickness and position of flooring/room ceilings, walls and other objects
• Type of building material
• High-frequency interfering signals

Observe the following installation notes to maximise the range

• Keep the number of ceilings and walls between the JUNG HOME devices as low as possible
• Select connecting routes between JUNG HOME devices in such a way that they go through walls perpendicular and not at acute angles
• Select connecting routes between JUNG HOME devices in such a way that the signal does not have to penetrate disrupting building materials and objects (e.g. concrete, glass, metal, insulated walls, liquids such as aquariums, mirrors and bookcases)
• Keep at least 1 m distance to devices that transmit high-frequency signals (e.g. microwave ovens, motors) and other wireless services that use 2.4 GHz (e.g. WLAN, baby monitors)
